On November 3, Beijing UBOX Online Technology Corp., a company with investment from Yintai Group, was officially listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It closed at HK$14.58 on the day of its debut, an increase of 40.87% from its issue price of HK$10.35, representing a market capitalization of HK$11.37 billion.
As the leading unmanned retail operator in mainland China, UBOX Online has received investments from many star institutions such as YF Capital, Ant Group, and China Capital Investment Group since its inception. As of June 30, 2023, it had a total of 61,888 vending machine locations across 157 cities and 28 provincial administrative regions, of which 87.3% were concentrated in first-tier, new first-tier, and second-tier cities. It has ranked first in mainland China’s unmanned retail industry for four consecutive years in terms of total transaction amount and network size.
In recent years, Yintai Group has invested over RMB20 billion in more than 80 companies, and is committed to promoting technological innovation and industrial transformation. Of these, 15 companies have become unicorns worth more than USD1 billion, and more than 10 companies have been listed.
